These Gatherings were attended by family members from Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Ireland, and the United States to experience and celebrate the culture and heritage of their ancestors, all with a common tie to a land which their forbearers once called home.

As the reunion is a family event we welcome young and old to come and share in the occasion. The event will host activities that will be engaging for all ages.

We encourage anyone interested in sharing your family story through photos, videos, letters, diaries, or significant family related items to please contact the planning committee to make arrangements.

The upcoming North American Ó Lochlainn Clan Reunion traces its origins to the Muintir Uí Lochlainn International Gatherings held in Ballyvaughan, County Clare Ireland, on the shores of Galway Bay in the heart of the Burren, beginning in 1995 and thereafter in 2005 and 2010.

Muintir Uí Lochlainn

One of our principle goals is to continue the tradition of family gatherings and provide participants a unique insight into the history and culture of the region, what Ó Lochlainn family members that belonged to the Diaspora leaving Ireland experienced during their immigration, and offer everyone a chance to share stories and make new connections.
